Hoppin’ Fox Equestrian is the horse boarding business at Hoppin’ Fox Farm in Fort Defiance, Virginia. It is small and owner-operated.

Horses at Hoppin’ Fox have access to well-maintained pastures with shelters, and Finishline fencing that help guard against injury. The farm’s trails are kept clear for riding and we work with our boarders to ensure scheduled feeding meets the unique needs of their horses.

We treat boarding as a relationship, not a transaction. You’re trusting us with an animal that matters to you, and we don’t take that lightly. You should always be able to reach us, see how your horse is doing, and know what a normal day looks like for them here.

This is a good fit for boarders looking for a smaller, quieter farm rather than a show/lesson barn. The owners are on-site, involved, and easy to reach, and where your horse is one of a known few rather than one of many.
